My Background

With over 15 years as an Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator and the Lead Equine Specialist for an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program, I have developed a unique approach to Life Coaching with horses AND donkeys, that combines evidence-based practices with a client-centered focus. I hold 2 Certifications as an Equine Specialist with Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (E.A.G.A.L.A.) and I am a certified Life Coach with the Life Coach Training Institute.

I believe that every individual has the potential to live a fulfilling and purposeful life. My approach is centered around helping my clients cultivate self-awareness, identify their values and goals, and create actionable steps towards achieving them. I am committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their inner world and work towards their desired outcomes.

I offer a range of coaching services (with or without horses) including one-on-one coaching sessions, group coaching, workshops, and Equine Specialist consultations. My areas of expertise include stress management, work-life balance, career transitions, and personal growth. I also work with teens and young adults in treatment for addictions and mental illness. Why Horses?

-Horses are reflective by nature.

-They will mirror the behavior and attitudes of the person with whom they are working and give you real time feed back about how you’re being experienced.

-They provide a hands on experience through connectedness and non-verbal communication that can teach you to be more authentic with your emotions and congruent with your actions.

-There’s no judgment from them.

-They have no preconceived ideas about who you are or why you’re there.

-They simply give you an honest look at whatever you’re dealing with in your life which can give you the power to make constructive changes towards your goals both professionally and personally.

What is the difference between a life coach and a therapist?

While both life coaches and therapists help individuals improve their lives, therapists typically focus on addressing mental health issues and past traumas, while life coaches focus on helping individuals achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

What is your approach to goal-setting?

My approach to goal-setting is to help clients identify specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals. I also work with clients to create an action plan and provide accountability to ensure they stay on track to achieve their goals.

How do you handle confidentiality?

Confidentiality is of utmost importance in my coaching practice. I adhere to the International Coach Federation's (ICF) Code of Ethics, which includes strict guidelines for maintaining client confidentiality.
